Fa Sang Woo is a popular chinese dessert. It literally means Groundnut Soup Dessert in English. The stall is actually located under the shade of two neem trees nearby a single-storey house with a sloping driveway. Pun Chun Chicken Biscuits & Restaurant
This restaurant is an old-timer in Bidor town. It is especially well-known for its chicken biscuits and ngap pei meen (duck thigh noodles). The business has been run by the Khong family since 1938. Apart from its signature dishes, the restaurant also serves Chinese pastries such as chicken biscuits, moooncakes and loh poh paeng (wife biscuits).

Restaurant Xin Kim Hoong
Lai Fun or rice noodles is another popular delicacy in Perak. And one of the best places to savour this dish is at a shop in Gopeng. Loh Chee Mun made his lai fun so popular that it eventually became known as the Gopeng Lai Fun by many locals. Currently, the business is run by Chee Mun’s son, Loh Kim Hoong.

Foong Mun Kee Ais Kacang
This stall can be classified as one of the oldest food stalls in Perak. Having been in business for 80-years, this ais kacang stall is now being operated by David Foong who continues to use his grandfather's original recipe for its delicious and tasty ais kacang. There are six variations to choose from apart from the classic style that most places offer.

This is Taiping's most famous cendol stall. It started operations in 1950 from a tree-shadded cart along the road, next to Bismillah Restoran. Its cendol is different from the others as it is soft and silky - and the sugar-infused coconut milk is rich without being too creamy.

While the Indians are famous for their Indian rojak, the Chinese are more popularly known for their Fruit Rojak. Leng Fook Choy's mother started selling fruit rojak way back in the 1940s. Now her sons have taken over the business. Fruit Rojak is a mixture of fruits such as pineapple, water apple, guava and mango, toppled with crushed peanuts and a special sauce made from prawn paste and dark soy sauce.
