Bukit Merah Laketown Waterpark

Royal Belum State Park
The state park here, also the second largest protected jungle area after Taman Negara, is said to have the potential to be the world-class protected virgin jungle area because the park is located at a large land area with special landscapes. Gua Tempurung
Gua Tempurung, situated at Gopeng, is made of five domes, with a ceiling looking like the coconut shells, the domes are huge enough to house in stalagmites and stalactites that were formed during the years. Different domes here are different in the sense of their temperature, water level, the content of minerals and marble. If you happen to have decided to explore the cave, there’s a few tour guides that you get to choose from. Visitors can be rest assured that the walkway is safe and it’s built for visitor’s convenience. Visitors can also choose to pick the short tour where they only give basic information of the cave and for those adventure lovers, you can opt for the long tour usually takes about 2 to 3 and a half hours. You’ll get to see a variety of stalactite and stalagmite where some is still in the process of growing.

Zoo Taiping
Taiping, besides the infamous Lake Gardens, there’s also another famous hangout place for the children called Zoo Taiping. Situated in the Lake Gardens, the zoo had come up with an expansion program and includes the new ‘Open Concept’ animal enclosure.

Night Safari
Besides the Zoo Taiping, there’s another attraction call the Night Safari. Taiping Night Safari is where it is open for visit only when night falls as the animals were displayed under the special lighting. Animals that are only active at nights will be the center of attraction under the lights that look just like the moonlight. The main concept of this Night Safari is actually to bring visitors to experience the wildlife habitats. Visitors will be requested to make minimal noise while you are at your visit in order to listen to the sounds of the creatures. Another restriction to it is torch lights and camera flashes as they’ll disturb the display.

National Stud Farm
National Stud Farm Perak is Malaysia’s first and only recognized pure-bred breeding and was seen registered in the Malaysian Stud Book way back in 1996. Perak was chosen as the weather and environment here is suitable for breeding. The natural ground, services and facilities here as well as the flat and gentle land is said to be advantageous to the breeding. The breeding takes about 2 and a half months starting in the mid of September and ends at early December. Experienced staffs will be there to look after the horses. The staffs are well-trained to see to each animal’s need and monitoring their development.
